Hmm, maybe 20 times across LI, NY, RI, MA, Montreal and London.  Montreal was the best and London the worst.  All times were drunken affairs i.e. college, bachelor parties, entertaining clients or vacation.  I havent been to one in 5 years or so.

Ha, yeah there used to be a bad one near where I grew up on LI.  A real small and dingy place. The talent was pretty gross.

Then again Ive been in the "most "classy" places in the world. Dumped like 2k in a Manhattan one night- not one of my prouder moments in retrospect. I think it was flashdancers.  Very attractive women, but a huuuuuge waster of money.

I'm pretty sure "classy stripclub" is an oxymoron...but I suppose you did say "classier".  Just like a bum is classier if he sticks his pinky out when he drinks his Thunderbird.

I don't recall any scars anywhere though.  Just that same smell in all three (Vegas, Atlanta and Panama City Beach) places I've been.  sh**t, tuna and broken dreams.

Yes... no need to now since I have a girlfriend, but I did go to one in Vancouver in 2010.  The couple Ive been to in Ottawa and Montreal were much classier than the one in Vancouver, but it was in the notorious downtown East Side. There was one girl there that literally looked like a blow up doll. Ick.

Those are basically everywhere in the center of the city and more common than regular strip clubs, though they generally have covers if I remember correctly. Also I wasn't looking to spend $200 on a prostitute.
