While I do take Masob-Dixon not too serious the consistency of Bachmann's lead in the polls now leave me to think she is leading.

That poll seems strangely two-person race for this early.

We'll see a change after Ames when Iowa becomes pissed that Romney skipped and one of the lesser candidates rose to the top

is there any way for Romney to put up a fight in Iowa without making it look like he's putting up a fight?

This sounds really funny for some reason.

I think she wins Iowa unless someone crazier jumps into the race. If Palin runs, I could see her splitting the vote for Romney to come out with a plurality.

you fools buying into Bachmann.  these things have twists and turns, she doesn't have a fraction of Mitt's money.  nobody with power wants her to win, it's too dangerous no matter who you are. 08 had its Fred Thompson phase, Huck phase...

To be fair, half-assed Senate candidates have more money than Mitt right now.  Besides, finding the logical outcome doesn't work on a woman whose entire political career has defied it.

right now on Intrade you can get about 3/2 on your money if you buy out all of Romney + Perry + Pawlenty + Huntsman + Palin + 'Other' to win the IA caucuses.  if I ran a tout service this is what I'd be amping hard.  if you are a player and don't want to buy one of them then don't, it's the concept that matters.
