I have found that maps from Leip's Election Atlas can post into another one on historical and cultural topics.

http://www.fourthturning.com/forum/index.php

Elections are not the sole focus of that site. The site is commercial to the extent that it pushes books related to the study... but as a rule, hyping books is much germane to the study is more readily tolerated just about anywhere than are spam ads pushing real estate or "discount v**gra at Rxripoff(dot)com"

Would I violate Leip's copyrights by transferring this to that site?

As a rule strict rule I have transferred only material of my creation.

Here's a blank map (intensity not blanked out) if you want to show the Congressional districts of Maine and Nebraska, but not electoral votes.

Here's one for elections that don't involve individual districts of Maine and Nebraska.

Or Alaska, Hawaii, or DC not voting (elections under the 48-star flag):

Or so that I can be a smart-aleck, the 45-star flag that excludes the States admitted to the Union during the 20th century:
