Random sidenote, I'm sick of Republicans saying that the government needs to act more like an American household and live within it's means when their example is so awful. The average American lives under a mountain of debt that is far worse than our government's debt to GDP ratio:

On this topic, though, have you got a load of the new numbers that just came out about average household net worth, particularly the racial crosstabs? Really sobering and honestly horrifying figures.
