Despite initial reservations, this is pretty awesome.

Boehner's making a huge mistake trying to "take the Presidency and run". Tongue

Wouldn't Boehner be the 3rd Catholic President? Not that it really matters. Hey! Do you notice that all three Catholic Presidents seem to have their terms cut short?

Also, Cantor would be the first Jewish President.

Can't Cantor just get sworn in before a vote takes place? Also, isn't King a Conservahack? Why would he go with the Dems?

Awesome. Has the dawn after the American Nightmare arrived? Or is it just a brief respite?

Powell can't be president. You have to be a member of the house (which Powell is not) to be elected as Speaker.  Cantor is the rightful president according to the 25th Amendment.

Don't be a buzzkill, this is sirnick's tl so he can do what he wants to do

I like the tl but screwing Cantor and the Tea Party IMO was not the right call. Powell is a rare liberal Republican. I see potential Third Party ramifications due to this.

Man, just sit back and enjoy the ride as opposed to always trying to turn it into politics. IMO, it's much cooler to have Powell than Cantor, regardless of political beliefs.

I was rooting for Webb, so I'm glad to see him on the ticket, even if Gore's heading it. SmileySad

Jeb's in the cabinet! Good VP pick, btw, despite him being out of office 16 years.

Does Ford count in the "wholly unelected President" group?

Actually, that's kind of a cool choice. I like the rather unorthodox VP picks. Hope to see all four guys win states. Smiley please though, don't give Jenny the satisfaction of SCOTUS.

I find it funny how confident Trump is he's going to win despite Romney leading and Trump being one of two major independent candidates.

Has there been any shift in the two parties, such as, say, the Republicans breaking into industrial states while the Democrats go into the South West?
