Not only that, it's just "prefer Republican".

Just like "Generic Republican" polls have zero bearing on anything, this tells us nothing either. It might as well say "prefer Morbo the News Monster".

     The numbers themselves are irrelevant, but the movement is rather enlightening. This would suggest that voters are more likely to consider the Republicans as an alternative to Obama now. While the GOP still has to nominate someone electable, this bodes well for the prospects of someone like Romney, should he be nominated.
