Both are certainly conservatives, though of a different fashion. Iron Man is probably a sort of libertarian, while Batman is a law-and-order guy. Don't know how this would turn out, but it'd be interesting.

I suspect it would boil down then to if the issues of the day were more domestic (batman punches crime and then crazy prepares us out of fiscal crisis) or international (iron man flies to North Korea to head butt some guys before blowing up a tank and coming back).
