Hopefully this will prove as intellectually stimulating as the other threads posted on this child board.

Roch, 'tis a parody thread.

Anyway, I even made a map.

This was more to drive at the point that some of the recent threads on this board have been useless crap.

Spam thread, locked, most posts deleted. No infraction points delivered to Dallasfan65 because this thread does bring up a valid point (and the map was a bit amusing). In the future, please do not hesitate to use the "report to moderator" function to report any threads that are so utterly lacking in merit that they can be safely considered spam. Smiley

Thanks,
BK.

EDIT:

On second thought, I'm going to sticky this and use it to make a valid point. Imaginary character vs. Imaginary character elections tread a fine line between acceptability and spam. Threads that are only, "CHARACTER A VS. CHARACTER B DISCUSS WITH MAPS LOLOL" will be deleted. Threads that are about characters in a setting where their political views and/or ties to the United States are irrelevant will be deleted, unless you make enough of an explanation in the opening post about what each character is supposed to represent (e.g. Mickey Mouse vs. Bugs Bunny would be okay if you explain in the OP, "Mickey is the face of Disney so he's obviously the big business candidate, Bugs Bunny is a working class leftist because he fights the oppression of that elitist Elmer Fudd)- not that you can't leave things open to interpretation, but give other posters something to build on or it's just spam. Basically, if you're starting a discussion where someone can potentially make this level of analysis, I'll allow it. If your post is just OBSCURE NAME A vs. OBSCURE NAME B, with no elaboration, then it gets deleted on sight.

I'm unlocking this thread so y'all can comment and question me about this policy. Complaints and appeals to moderatings I've already handed out should be made via PM, not posted here, and will be deleted from this thread. Hope this is all understandable.

Actually, I am rather pleased with how the thread turned out, and I applaud Bacon King's actions.

Just out of curiosity, are mods only able to act on reported threads/posts?

I guess not but, naturally, due to a number of posts, they can't read all, so they are giving a special attention to those reported.

This thread wasn't reported. I discovered it when I followed a link from the Comedy Goldmine Tongue

And yes, Kal's exactly right. I can act even when things aren't reported, but the reports help a lot in pointing out problematic posts sooner than I'd notice them on my own.

No, only those who get bombarded with pointless reports do.

Roch, 'tis a parody thread.

Anyway, I even made a map.

This was more to drive at the point that some of the recent threads on this board have been useless crap.

That's the 2004 map. Urnie is Kerry and Feces is Bush.

Also, I was the one who put this in the Comedy Goldmine.

Bacon, do you really think permanently having at the top of this board a thread called "urine vs feces" is a good thing for newbies ?

I personally have no problem with it, but it might give a very bad advertisement to the forum.

My Mickey Mouse v. Bugs Bunny analysis was excellent, thank you very much

AND @BK - WAY TO LINK TO izixs's analysis of Superman v. Batman. Those ideas, minus the different formatting, are totally based in my analysis!
