Mine moved almost five points to the left socially from the last time that I took the PM test.

Left economically, center-left socially. Mainstream Democrat.

Actually, most mainstream Democrats aren't pro-life, like I am. I see how you could have gotten that impression though. Wink

As for yours, it would be better if your social and economic scores were flipped around. Still, independent is probably an appropriate label for you.

Somewhat acceptable though I'd say a bit right wing for my tastes both ways.

It could use a higher social score.

Economic needs to be 10 points lower, social needs to be 5 points lower.

Seems to about right from his posts so far. I would have guess the social score to be a little lower but I'm not terribly suprised considering I find him to be one of the more likeable liberals on this forum. I'd prefer both scores to be about 10 points higher if I wanted agreement for voting purposes and such.

Not great, but it's not terribly accurate either. I would probably subtract about 2-3 points from each score TBH, or change the test questions substantially.

Multiply each score by negative one and I'm sold.

[@ TJ: Drugs and very conflicted feelings about abortion. The social score would probably be considerably lower if not for those two issues.]

Fits him well.  Doesn't fit North Carolina, but then I'm pretty sure he's from Pennsylvania.

I just took the PM test again without critical checks and got:

E+2.97  S+5.57

As you can see it makes a pretty decent difference to the S+7.30 that Mint seems to think is too high. I guess I feel more strongly about the same set of issues I am the most conservative on. I also think the economic change is more about whether I clicked "Agree" or "Usually Agree" or some minor differences that will happen every time I take the test.

SKIP

Yelnoc should be up next.

I already regret posting in this thread, but I largely find it unoffensive. When thinking of what kinds of answers are necessary to reach such a score, I feel like it's realistic...if even a bit shy or tamed.

I'm actually surprised the economic score is so far to the right. I'm also not so far left socially (except on those special select LGBT issues that I will not give in on) but that is because of my upbringing and I find the sort of passion that often comes with social scores very far to the left sort of inspiring.

Would be closer to mine if his economic and social scores swapped but his views seem more than acceptable.
