Yeah, this one's done.

I'm going to do an experiment with this next one. Now you can pick 2 states per turn. We'll see how this goes.

*SIGH* No one ever listens...

EDIT: Go back to Yelnoc's post and try again.

And don't call Georgia for Dean.  I mean, it's 2004.  Come on.

Its now 7:30, and we have some calls. We project President Bush has won West Virginia. Ohio and North Carolina are too close to call. Virginia is also too close to call.

West Virginia
Bush/Cheney-59%
Dean/Nunn-40%
Others-1%

Hell, Nunns on the ticket. It could be a alternate world, perhaps a scandal broke out?

can I go now?? I'm going on holidays today, so this may be my 1st and last contribution to this Election Night Game Wink

At 7:59, one minute before polls close in many states, we have good news for President Bush.
He's won in Ohio and North Carolina. Virginia is too close to call at this hour, it may be because of the "Nunn effect" in the South.

Ohio:

Bush 52%
Dean 46%

North Carolina:

Bush 51%
Dean 47%

8:30: Welcome back and we have a major state to call for President Bush. The state of Virginia will now be put in the President column. This is a major blow for Governor Kerry

The rule is that you pick two states every post for this specific election night instead of one. It's an experiment.

It might make more sense to allow the poster to do 1 or 2. I usually do one, because not all states are called in pairs.

9:00 PM- Welcome back and we have several new states to declare as we have just became able to call them.

The first two are victories for the President in his home state of Texas and the important swing state of New Hampshire. This is a blow to Dean as he was hoping for a sweep of the New England states.
