8:00:The bellweather state of Delaware goes to Mr. Casey, this will be interesting because most of the time (besides 2 elections) the state always goes to the winner

can I go now?? I'm going on holidays today, so this may be my 1st and last contribution to this Election Night Game Wink

At 7:59, one minute before polls close in many states, we have good news for President Bush.
He's won in Ohio and North Carolina. Virginia is too close to call at this hour, it may be because of the "Nunn effect" in the South.

Ohio:

Bush 52%
Dean 46%

North Carolina:

Bush 51%
Dean 47%

I already called North Carolina Julio

8:30: Welcome back and we have a major state to call for President Bush. The state of Virginia will now be put in the President column. This is a major blow for Governor Kerry

8:45: We have two more calls to make:

In the state of Alabama, we can call the state for President Bush, took longer than usual.

As well as the state of Massachusetts for Dean

BTW I apologize for breaking the two state rule. My bad

9:00 PM- Welcome back and we have several new states to declare as we have just became able to call them.

The first two are victories for the President in his home state of Texas and the important swing state of New Hampshire. This is a blow to Dean as he was hoping for a sweep of the New England states.

It's 11:00 PM in the east and we can finally project that President Bush will be relected President. He will win California by 6 points which he has led the final months, and will win Idaho, that is enough to put him over. President Bush has won according to our projections

Bush: 297
Dean: 187
