Since the parade of losers the GOP just keeps getting longer despite the favorable conditions, why wouldn't he, another up and coming out of touch Senator throw his hat in there? I'm actually shocked in this field that he's not in.  That would be the cherry on top.

He couldn't win Iowa over Bachmann or New Hampshire over Romney and South Carolina would be nullified.

I don't agree with you.  Again, I think a lot of people overestimate the "quality" of the GOP base.

He would have had to set up the ground work a long time ago. He's also a big Romney guy if I remember correctly.
