I would just like to say that not including Purple State on any currency would be incredibly stupid, especially in comparison to some of the others on this list. Under his Administration we saw incredible activity, the first Presidential legislative agenda in numerous administrations prior to that point, and even if all of that doesn't matter, we ratified a new Constitution.

Phil's Presidency was marked by nothing but scandal, Ebowed's Presidency, to my knowledge, isn't famous for anything aside from putting Opebo on the court, Tmth's Presidency was fine, but aside from the GM reform Act (which was good) it was unremarkable, but you exclude a President that drafted and got a new Constitution ratified? Please.

Someone amend this bill to fix this absurd and personally-motivated omission.

You mean that buggy constitution we keep having to fix via amendments? Wink

Anyway, I think you've missed some of the underlying reasons certain people were picked for certain dollars and coins... But anyway, maybe Purple State can have the two dollar bill. Grin

I distinctly remember you being in the convention voting to move it along at every step, Mr. Quality Control..

Besides; Purple State was a landmark member from the Mideast in reviving the interest in regional legislatures, he was the person that made the position of Game Moderator important and meaningful and is still the standard we hold all GMs to, and he was voted 2009 Atlasian of the Year.

To not include him on currency would be criminal.

I offer the following amendment:

11)  The two-dollar bill shall feature a photo of President PurpleState

Notes:
I think this is fair since $2 bills are fairly rare, and people tend to hold onto them and cherish them when they do find one.  Tongue

It also means we don't have to kick anybody else off of the other money.

Let Purple State take my place. As honored as I am to be included on this list, and though I do personally believe I may be more deserving than some listed, Purple State deserves a place on something that's actually used often, which the nickel is.

I wouldn't object to being on the two-dollar bill though, considering I have a small collection of them anyways. Tongue Wink

Is the lack of space between the color and the political entity intentional or accidental? Wink

I seek to amend the bill to put Purple State on the nickel, as suggested by my valued constituent.

Also would like to consider abolishing penny as suggested by Senator Jbrase, as it seems relevant here.

Fine, fine, we can replace tmth with PS.

And "photo" isn't a good word? What about portrait? Tongue

Yeah, I like the intent of this bill but a few guys who deserve to be there aren't and a few guys who are there shouldn't (AFAIK, for example I wasn't there during Phils presidency but 99% people I've talked with agree to say it was an utter failure).

If we had to establish a scale of importance, I'd say :

$1 : Nym
$5 : PBrunsel
$10 : Bgwah
$20 : Lief
$50 : PS
$100 : Colin Wixted

I'd say we reserve coins to non-presidential figures, like Al, Lewis, Peter, Sam Spade, Ilikeverin...

That would be better, but really they should all be mythological beasts that tell the history of Atlasia in allegorical form.

The only person who suggested it was me, and I'm Officepark's constituent, as well as the Senator's at-large. Not yours.

I know you love to assume that I am wrong or oblivious, Tmth, but my amendment is rather obviously designed to address concerns raised by Marokai Blue. I usually scroll past your posts and only caught this because I saw my name.

Napoleon, your amendment is the exact proposal I made in this thread, which was replacing myself with Purple State on the nickel. Marokai never suggested I be removed, only that Purple State should be added. That is what's pretty obvious.

Is this suppose to be an amendment as well? Lack of the words "I seek to amend" like in the first one and in it's place "would like to consider" removes clear intent and would be interpreted by me as to mean it is not an amendment at this time. However, as per recent policy change as a result of the Comprehensive... Act, clarification is needed.
