What are they exactly? Should we just expect the usual Bush-era bulls.hit or will he take a more nuanced approach to international affairs?

After 10 years do you really have to ask?

Probably nonexistent.  As a governor there is no reason to get involved in foreign policy debates.  Its not like you can do anything about it and your views may alienate some voters.

I'm sure he is probably soft on illegal alien policy.  After all he is a farmer from a border state.  He knows how those farms and ranches maintain decent margins Wink

Or why not arrest all farmers, ranchers, and other businessmen in Texas that hire undocumented workers.  These words will NEVER come from his lips.

You probably won't believe me but I hadn't even bothered to read anything about where Perry stands on immigration.  Once I knew he was a farmer from Texas I had a pretty good idea.  I just googled Perry and immigration and this is what I found.

I feel like the foreign policy of each party is virtually indistinguishable these days.

He's a lot more aggressive that I thought. Taking advice from Rumsfield and Andrew McCarthy? Ugh.

That's cause it isn't distinguishable.  They'll use different buzz words to promote their views, but it's all basically the same Wilsonian sh**.

Rick Perry is a total clone of George Bush; Open Borders, NAFTA Super Highway, War Monger, Israel Firster.

''Perry feels the U.S. defense budget has been dangerously eroded as a result of the "explosion of entitlement spending."

We won the Cold War with less than half the current budget.
