Newt and Callista Gingrich have their wedding anniversary this week, and they're going to mark the occasion by having the Gingrich presidential campaign fly them out to Hawaii for three days of "campaigning":

This is the same Gingrich campaign that's $1 million in debt, and normally can't afford to hold events that aren't within driving distance of Gingrich's house:

No word yet on whether Newt and Callista will spend Christmas campaigning in Puerto Rico, or Valentine's Day campaigning in the delegate-rich U.S. Virgin Islands.

He's using the Romney strategy of going after Obama directly, by switching his place of birth into the GOP column.

I made a donation as soon as I read this.  Hawaii's a bit of a bellwether for the GOP primary.  With a 7th place finish here, Newt could push Karger out of the race.

Well, the OC has a lot of Rich Republicans even though Cali is a solid blue state.  I'm sure there are some rich Republicans in Hawaii.
