Huntsman would make the best president, and then I'd go for Romney or Johnson.

Admittedly, I am not the most well versed in Dr. Paul's latest views on the gold standard, but do you support going back to it? As opposed to a sensible, conservative monetary policy?

I'm skeptical of the gold standard simply because it's in such short supply, but I certainly don't support the federal reserve or think people should be bound by legal tender laws. I think Paul's idea of competing currencies being legal makes sense.

Yes, I think both programs should be phased out and states should generally decide economic policy for themselves. Last I checked when Cenk Uygur asked him about both he said he'd prefer to cut the military first then pay for short term obligations for those programs, to the best of his ability.

In any case I don't have any faith in the feds on this issue, particularly after seeing obvious corporate welfare policies like PPACA and Medicare Part D enacted and the hilarious math they use in their budget forecasts (both parties).

Why not support Obama, as he's just like Huntsman, only black.

Or are you a racist?

Or, do you agree with Huntsman that Porkulus should have been bigger?

Huntsman (R)

^^^^^^^  This.

Prior to the recent flirtation with economic darwinism and interpreting the Constitution as a suicide pact, most Republican officials would have been okay with a decent economic stimulus package, a market-based carbon restriction ("cap-and-trade"), and market-based health care reform.

So far, we have a rather odd little precinct here. Smiley Keep voting!

Huntsman (R)

Not surprising!

You always look to find the most left-wing candidate possible.

That's what males you a "moderate."

Heck, just be honest and support Obama rather than his pale (and second-rate) clone.

Calm down CARL.

We need this "precinct" to get into the lymph nodes and metastasize!  Tongue
