Supposedly, it is said that Coolidge once wrote to Senator Borah asking if he would be his running-mate, to which Borah responded "For which slot?"

William E. Borah (R-ID)/Calvin Coolidge (R-MA)

vs

John Davis (D-WV)/Charles Bryan (D-NE)

So, in the thread "Borah vs. Smith", you still have the Democrat be John W Davis? Which one is it?

I honestly don't know how it'd be that different except no Progressive ticket meaning Republicans get Wisconsin and LaFollette's votes.

Basically put, Borah wins by huge margins, basically combining Progressive and Rump Republicans:

Senator William E Borah (R-ID)/President John Calvin Coolidge (R-MA) 405 electoral votes, ~68% of the popular vote
Former Ambassador John W Davis (D-WV)/Governor Charles W Bryan (D-NE) 126 electoral votes, ~30% of the popular vote

Seriously, if Borah manages to get nearly all the Coolidge vote plus all the LaFollette vote, he has the potential to get over 90% in Minnesota. What's unaccounted for in this scenario, however, is the question of whether Conservatives might flee to Davis with a Progressive like Borah heading the ticket.
