The price of gold thread is pretty funny.

The unique misfortune of the Palestinian refugees is that they are a weapon in what seems to be a permanent war...today, in the Middle East, you get a repeated sinking sensation about the Palestinian refugees: they are only a beginning, not an end. Their function is to hang around and be constantly useful as a goad. The ultimate aim is not such humane small potatoes as repatriating refugees.

But not I've been writing.
The tread was actually started by Opedo in January about how bad an investment gold was, based on his reading of
Rabbit Is Rich
. Of course , that was about $500 an ounce ago.

Right, that's why it's so funny. I think we all can agree that what this forum needs the most is more opebo predictions. Or maybe that Hash guy, he did say that oil would be $270/gal by March 2010.

No, but why does he insert bits about the price of gold into totally unrelated threads? Seems psychotic.

It's amusing that a thread proving what a poor forecaster Opebo is must be turned by BRTD into about how bad JJ is.

Both are true, though.

I've lost interest in the forum and I've wasted far too much time here.
To those I consider forum friends, it's been nice and I hope to keep contact in some form.
Cheers.

Gold, right now is a barometer of economic uncertainty. If gold wasn't increasing all that much, it wouldn't be too relevant. It's relevant.

Uh, if you want to talk about being a poor forecaster and inaccurate predictions it's pretty clear which person mentioned in your post has the most of that...

Well, I also accurately predicted the correction in the gold market, that we saw last week. Maybe "The gold, the gold is to damn high," was a bit subtle for you.
