Why do we need threads documenting J.J., krazen, pbrower, CARLHAYDEN and jfern's posting histories?

While it doesn't fit the description of this thread, pretty much any thread that jmfcst starts from his mobile turns into a deluge of absurdity.

What would happen if Perry were President w/ 60 GOP Senate Seats?

Probably a reduction in military spending.

Nobody in the GOP has discussed a reduction, either.  Perry + 60 GOP seats sounds like the perfect combo for more defense spending.

Libya (even though it was relatively inexpensive).*

Because those Republicans didn't really care about the cost, they cared about opposing the President.  The Republicans are not serious about cutting defense spending.  Any mention of it was quickly silenced in the debt ceiling negotiations.

There are new priorities.  The candidates are saying "The federal government is too big."  The tea party movement is saying that.  Part of that government is the military.  Not increasing it, or decreasing it, fits with that philosophy.  I really do not recall any R presidential candidate saying "More money for defense."

You assume they tell the truth.  How very foolish for a man as experienced as yourself.

Put the kabash on the Tea Party and become a responsible governing party again.

Remember the "angry white males" of the 1990's.. the militia groups... Pat Buchanan....  all of that seemed to go away in 2000.

Yeah...what a great 8 years of peace and prosperity we had during that period.

Meh....

Bush: 8 months of peace and six years of prosperity
Obama: No peace, no prosperity.

When you sit a hole watching Hannity, it's possible to believe you live a world without any prosperity.

This thread had deluged into awful tedium.

I'm not really sure where this goes, so I'll just put it here:

Lulz... teens on the internet discussing issues that matter.

Little smarmy know-it-alls who think that because a state barely goes to Obama in one election in 40 years, that it suddenly becomes a massive blue state.

OH NOEZ!!!! VIRGINIA IS LIBERALZ NOW!!!! WHICH IS WHY "OH NOEZ THEZIZ!!!!!" worked so well for Creigh Deeds.

What this all boils down to is wishful thinking. Teenage kids, most of whom are too young to vote, think that they have all the answers because their messiah told them so.

This guy is so annoying.
The filibuster will be all standing between the United States and quasi-fascism from 2013 onwards.

Yes, anyone with at least half a brain knows that the Supreme Court will be the last stand for democracy in the United States.

leading in the polls, and has the support of the jmfsct's. unless he implodes, he is the GOP nominee.

I believe this is the official Deluge™ that J.J. had predicted all along.

There's not a single kill in the history of the world that wasn't in "self-defense." Even an insane man like Manson and the gang had to frame justification before they did what they did.

If you know you are about to commit an act that is sinful, the correct response is to not act, not prepare a canned, disingenious "I'm sorry" speech to God for when after you're done.

This is a race involving an unpopular incumbent (his approval rating is ten points or more lower than Carter's in January 1980), and the Republican candidate has nothing to do with George W. Bush or Washington this time (much like the 1980 race and Republican ticket had nothing to do with Nixon), so it is way too early to say much of anything other than the following:

Obama - 37
Romney - 170
Up in the Air - 331

In other words, Romney only needs 100 out of 331 (or, put another way, an electoral batting average of .302 versus Obama's required electoral batting average of .704)...

Because it needs to be in here twice.

Obama may be re-elected President while massively, more than any other Democrat, losing the white vote. That's gotta make him feel subpar.

I am calling shenanigans by Democrats here, especially after seeing the glee from Obama fanatics who want to turn all of America into Detroit. Very good job, but once the secret plans start leaking it is going to help Romney, especially if we can get it on record that some immature Democrats intentionally voted for Santorum because they think the Santorum Internet meme is hilarious...

Colorado will be the tell-tale sign, of course.

I hope our mods restrain themselves from pushing the ban button on Politico.  He's simply too entertaining to not keep until November--the MyPalFish of 2012.

Once the west becomes a DEM stronghold, it will become 3rd world status, watch it happen.  Give it another 40 years.

If the unemployment rate goes dow to 6% for example, if people still aren't doing well financially despite the simple fact of having a job, he will lose.

I'm one of the most humble people I know.

Something about calling oneself "most humble" just got me...
