Hello, here I am.  Apologies for the delay.

First I would like to announce that yes, I will be seeking reelection as the Midwest's regional senator.  I feel that we have accomplished a fair amount in the past few months.

Job creation has been one of my top goals as senator.  A few days ago I proposed adding $10 billion dollars to the Transportation Infrastructure Investment Act to build a high speed rail line between Minneapolis, Madison, Milwaukee, and Chicago respectively.  This will create thousands of new jobs in Atlasia, as well as giving people an alternative to crappy airline services.  Cheesy

Early on I sponsored an alternative energy bill, which invested billions in businesses that use cleaner sources of power.  Not only does it give good incentives for our economy, but our environment as well.  I know how much the ecosystem means to so many Atlasians in this great region of ours, and I hope to persue other opportunities to protect this planet.

There's still so much to do, so many people we still have to help.  Vote for me, and I will continue to work hard for this lovely region and the people of Atlasia.

Cake be with you!!!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

TPP -  What are you most proud of during your term as Senator?  If re-elected, what priorities will you have during your next term?

My biggest acomplishment I would say was getting the senate to pass a green jobs bill.  Although it was basically re-written, it should still provide some good incentive for the private sector which I see as a major plus.

My top priorities next term would to bring back money to several ailing schools and infastructure (a plan which is already in motion) and to work with the president to close loopholes in the tax system.

I would like to announce that I am terminating my reelection campaign, frankly due to my dwindling interest in the forum itself.  Map making is usually much more interesting to me than fantasy government, and even that seems a bit boring to me now.  How can I be a good senator if I don't have any enthusiasm?  I think it would be better for everyone if I didn't run for a second term.  However, this does not mean I will resign.  I was elected by the good people of the Midwest to serve them in the senate for one term, so serve it I will.

Peace

Sad

Sorry to see you've withdrawn your re-election bid. I hope you'll return to electoral politics at some point.
