In terms of the Jewish hold on California politics, having both US senate seats is rather striking.  OTOH, once Boxer and Feinstein retire, I doubt whether other Jews would replace them.  Also, the Jewish US house contingent is lower with the death of Lantos and Harman's retirement.

Jews have always been prominent in Hollywood and the media, so why wouldn't they be prominent in California politics. The demise of the four Mans is more surprising than the fact that they got there in the first place.
