Someone get Naso's opinion of this so we know what the GOP electorate will think of it.

The next debate should only have Romney, Perry, Paul and Bachmann. Stop giving airtime to candidates without support, especially the crazy ones.

There's something wrong in this post.

I thought the responses were all a little hyped-up until I watched the video. What was going through his staff's heads when they made this? He literally says "God Bless America" as the lives of thousands of Americans come to screeching halt.

I'm calling it: your reactions to this video make him more likely to vote Republican.

366 people like this video, 1,208 don't.

The ones who liked it are probably people who must have mistaken it for a anti-Cain satire or something like that. Tongue

Under that criteria I am not sure Bachmann would qualify for the debate either.

I think he means mainly "without support" with "crazy" being an exacerbating factor.  Even if someone is crazy but they have support they should be allowed to debate.

this.

Giving airtime to crazy candidates naturally increases their support among Republicans.

Dear God, this is creepy. I actually can't remember the last time a youtube video creeped me out this much. I shudder to think of what dark recess of Cain's mind this emerged from.

I'm actually far more offended by Cain's "Tribute Video" than by anything Reverend Wright has ever said.

Wait........that isn't supposed to be satire?

Huh......weird.

Once again, I stand by my initial diagnosis of him being overrated.  Except in the crazy department, in which he has no equal.

It's probably going to be taken down as soon as they wake up and see the response.  The halfwit who assembled and uploaded this 2 minute monstrosity on the command "here is Herman singing GBA, add some 9/11 clips to it" will soon be fired as well.

Well time to save the audio so it can be used for the many parody videos.

Well instead they just disabled comments and like/dislike.

Oh yeah I just realized that there is no point in parodying that video.

Oooooh, here'd be a good reply "tribute", just intersperse random 9/11 footage with the soundtrack being "Surfin Bird".

I think that honoring those lost and remembering what happened that day is fitting because it is the 10th anniversary of September 11, 2001. Now, if this video was released on a random day as just something exploiting 9/11, then it would be offensive.

Remember, this same discussion came up over seven years ago when Bush's re-election campaign released the first ad with a small reference to 9/11, which was clearly George Bush's finest moment as a leader and likely what history will mostly judge him on. Instantly, he was attacked and said to be "exploiting 9/11 for political gain". I'd disagree. I'd also disagree if someone said that if the President uses the death of Bin Laden in an ad for his seemingly unlikely re-election. It's an achievement and it should be able to be used.

Herman Cain's voice is offensive enough.

Naso, it being about 9/11 is not what is wrong and offensive with the video.
