Ha, my brother just texted me the same thing,  He is quoting Goonies lines and everything.  He lives in Mass. too so I'm worried for his sanity these next few weeks Smiley

Basically, I cried, threw up, and then sent many insulting tweets to Kyle Williams.

I think the Pats need to pay back the Giants for ruining their perfect season.

Seriously, I may have only been alive for 15 years, but the past two days have been as long as centuries.

Remember when the Cowboys were up 34-22 and the Giants were three minutes from being eliminated from the playoffs?

Sigh.

I actually rooted for the Giants last time because I wanted them to ruin the Patriots' perfect season. This time I don't particularly care about either team, but I do like Tom Brady. So there.

I'm not rooting for anyone...but I guess I'd be happier if the Patriots won.

Remember when Tom Brady said he "sucked" in his AFC championship post-game speech? What an arrogant asshole!

a dude on JetsInsider pointed out.  4 of the Jets 8 losses came to teams playing yesterday.  3 of the Jets 8 losses came to teams playing in the Super Bowl.

Bumped.

Becase Goodell is about to go old school on the Saints and Gregg Williams.

When I first heard the tease for the story I just assumed it was about the Ratbirds as they have done pretty much the same thing for years.  Maybe not to this scale and I don't think it was ever sanctioned by the team like this, but it was my first thought.

Ok. Enough time has passed where I think I can post about football here again.

No matter what players say, this has to happen on some level in nearly every locker room (like the videotaping scandal); it just might not go as high up. I'm just disappointed it was the Saints organization that got caught doing it, not the Ravens or Jets.

I actually don't have much of an issue with it. I mean it is pretty messed up to go out of your way to injure someone but it's a competitive professional sport.

I wouldn't be surprised if Payton was suspended for the year. I can't even imagine what will happen to Williams, though.

And yet their defense was still terrible.

There should be a thorough investigation to see if Payton knew anything. Williams should be fired by the Saints and suspended from the league for a year by the NFL.

Some folks are calling for Williams to be kicked out of the league for life. I say no way. If Michael Vick was not worthy of a life suspension, almost nobody is.

Williams no longer works for the Saints. He is DC for the Rams.

There's no comparison to the Vick situation here, especially since you can't market a Defensive Coordinator.

Here's to 10+ years of the Saints missing the playoffs to come. Hopefully the Rams will try to defend Gregg Williams & lose their fanbase, then the Cowboys & Eagles somehow get implicated & tank as well. Won't happen, but I can dream.

Of course I agree with that, with the exception of the Eagles hate. I can't say I care about the Eagles at all.

Which is totally fair since you aren't a fan of a team that's a division rival or has some other history with the birds.

I kinda feel the same way about the Niners.  Except for the jealousy every birds fan should feel regarding your team's five rings.
