This weekend is the state party's Fall meeting. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it up there this time. It's especially unfortunate since there will be a Presidential straw poll. It obviously isn't anything like Ames (I don't know if any candidates even plan on stopping by) but it will be interesting to see the results. Let's see how well Santorum can do.

Santorum wins comfortably! I'm getting word that he got 138 votes. Perry was the next closest with 71 votes then Romney.

I honestly didn't expect him to win even as a favorite son.
