This story about Rick Perry is hilarious

Quote
Rick Perry, Texas governor and presidential hopeful, hit the Fashion Week party circuit in New York last night.
Gawker reported that Perry hung out with Donald Trump and attended the Sherri Hill show, which took place at Trump Tower.
Walking in the show was Kendall Jenner, the little Kardashian sister who didn't walk in Avril Lavigne's Abbey Dawn show and had previously declined fashion opportunities in favor of school. Looks like that's down the drain, as Jenner took to the runway last night modeling several different looks.
According to Page Six, Rick Perry rushed backstage after the show and chatted with Jenner.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/09/16/rick-perry-kendall-jenner_n_966115.html
Of course the best part is the very last bit:
Quote
"Perry chatted with Kendall briefly but lit up when The Donald chimed in about her former Olympian dad, 'She’s Bruce Jenner’s daughter.'"
Rick apparently didn't find the female models very interesting, but when
Bruce Jenner
came up, Rick really "lit up."

The homophobia on the part of the dangerous party and its supporters is alarming.

Well, you are a supporter/member of said dangerous party. You know, the one that aligns with those that called for a war against Republicans.

I'm not really sure what's homophobic about implying someone is gay anyway. I'm certainly not saying that the
fact
persistent rumor that Rick Perry prefers the intimate company of men to women is a bad thing. Perhaps members of the anti-gay party might make that judgment, but we enlightened liberals surely are not.

Aaron Blake's article in today's WaPo is entitled
"Women slow to embrace Rick Perry"
The most interesting paragraph is this:
“I think it is fairly qualitative,” Anzalone said. “Perry is a man’s man, doesn’t hold back..."
OMG HEZ A GAY.

You're mocking him about it. But what do I know...maybe that's a sign of "tolerance."

Absolutely hilarious Phil. Your homophobic party, and yes they are bigoted homophobes, wouldn't nominate a gay for dogcatcher. And you think Democrats are homophobes, huh? Get a clue, kid.

What is more revealing is that you think it is "accusing". Like we were accusing them of being theives or something. Have fun being part of the homophobe party!

Well Kolbe survived in Tucson after he came out of the closet, and well David Drier is almost there. But yes - sigh. Life is a balancing test, isn't it?

lol Drier. Maybe he can survive if he came out the closet? Though he is running in the wrong part of LA if he goes with that strategy. He should move and run in the beach cities CD haha.
Realistically though, I think Drier could actually win that SBD-Rancho Cucamonga district. What do you think?

Yes, this cycle, particularly if Baca is his opponent. But he would need to try to get a job in the Romney administration ASAP (if such comes to pass), because thereafter his prospects would be cloudy.

Baca would just run in the Pomona to Ontario district, wouldn't he? Or even the Riverside district. Both would be better than that district. Rancho is one of those places Obama overperformed.

I thought I read that that was where Baca would go, but I could be mistaken. You are right of course about the partisan numbers however.

It was fuzzier than that. I think it was a surmise. Whether it was based on something real, or just another dumb ill informed reporter unaware of his own ignorance (a real possibility here), I don't know.

That story was quite funny, just for the fact that Perry was at fashion week.
As for CA-31, Joe Baca opted not to run there and is running in CA-35 (I'm referring to the new district numbers. Jerry Lewis is considering running in CA-31, but I think his corruption issues would be a problem in a D+ district, so he may run in CA-8. Dreier may move to CA-31, but it's more difficult than his current district, which he never hit 60% in over the past decade.

Seems as if Joe Baca likes being a congressman. He will run in the 35th. What is surprising about this article is that some think Jerry Lewis will run in the 31st? I think it's all show. In the end I think Lewis runs in the 8th and Drier buys a home in Rancho.

Such hatred (as evidenced above) is another sign of homophobia. It's very sad that such behavior still exists in society.

Hatred of what exactly? Your party is the one that hates gays. Deal with it!
Actually you could maybe do something constructive about it. Probably not though.

Accuse - 1. Charge (someone) with an offense or crime.
2. Claim that (someone) has done something wrong
It's is certainly quite similar to accusing someone of being a thief, yes.
