(or will be ready) for a:
Black-By the 1980s or so.
Woman-Possibly as early as the 1960s.
(Non-Closeted)Gay-Probably within a few years
(Non-Closeted)Atheist-A couple decades, maybe earlier
Muslim-Probably in a few years, when the War on Terror begins to settle down
Jewish-1950s?
Hispanic/Latino-Probably some point in the 20th century, but it depends on how white they are.
Asian (Far-East)-1970s, after the Vietnam war
Asain (Middle-East)-See Muslim, though Lebanese and Arab Christians could probably win a lot earlier
Asian (India/Whateverstan)-Now; Indians have a decent reputation, and if they can win in the Deep South...
Pacific Islander-See Far East?
Native American-No idea. Wasn't Coolidge part Indian or something?
Socalist-There were points where a socialist could win, but probably not now. With a decent campaign, easily in certain points in the future.
Anarchist-Too ideologically...unique to ever be elected
Robot-Never

I'll go with that. Except for robot. John Henry Eden will be "elected" the President of the Enclave in 2271.

There's no line in the sand between "electable" and "unelectable". A very strong X could beat a very flawed straight male WASP many years ago, but that doesn't mean there may not still be a fairly significant disadvantage to being an X today.

(or will be ready) for a:
Black - 1988
Woman - 1984
(Non-Closeted)Gay - 2030
(Non-Closeted)Atheist - 2020
Muslim - 2050
Jewish - 1952
Hispanic/Latino - Depends. White Hispanics like the Miami Cubans...? Probably for awhile. Brown Hispanics like Central California Mexicans? Not sure
Asian (Far-East) - 2004
Asain (Middle-East) - 1800s. Can't pinpoint a decade. I think 2nd/3rd gen Lebanese/Syrian would be a non-issue in most of the country's history.
Asian (India/Whateverstan) - 2004
Pacific Islander - 1992
Native American - 1920s?
Socalist - 1910s
Anarchist - Would not be an anarchist
Robot - 2000

Wouldn't an anarchist running for President be contradictory?

Very true.

Maybe not. I could see an anarchist running for President on the platform of "abolish this office & everything else". Of course, that person would have to begin doing so immediately if elected, or not be a real anarchist.
