This debate is critical for Perry. According to Chuck Todd/NBC Perry's debate performances so far have hurt his fundraising and being that he got in late he has to bring in big money to catch up to Romney. If he has another bad performance he could end up losing the GOP money primary, and being that this race looks like a Clinton v Obama like long slog all the way to the end, the guy who runs low on money first could be the one that loses.

And this will be the first debate since the Don't Ask policy has been suspended.  That's gonna be good for a few laughs.

This may be yet another chance for the audience to make news.

Moderator: Yesterday marked the day that the military's policy of "Dont Ask Don't Tell" ended...
Audience: BOOOOOOOOOOO
Moderator: ....um, [Candidate name] would you bring "Don't ask Dont Tell" back?

So Rick Perry, if someone isnt close to retirement age, did you just admit they should be worried about your plan?

What the hell is wrong with the race to the top? It's a program structured in a way that rewards states that come up with serious education plans. It sounds exactly like something Republicans would've supported.

silly question...Obama likes it, therefore it is evil

I actually agree with Bachmann on something with illegals, building a fence. It helps, somewhat.

Why stop there? Let's dig a moat.

For all these folks talking about cutting spending, they seem to have no limit on how much they want to spend on the Border Patrol.

after one hour I would say that Rick Perry is winning because he is surviving and doing better than previous debates. But he tends to get worse as the debates go on so too early to tell

How exactly would Obamacare have changed the private healthcare of a millionaire business owner?

Romney is doing a lot of this "Rick Perry doesn't know what he's talking about."

maybe a subtle way of saying "Rick Perry is stupid"?

Perry sure did his best to advance that argument with his rebuttal.

As these debates drag on Perry seems to run out of gas and starts rambling and talking slowly. Its like he drank a couple Red Bulls before coming out and is now crashing
