I'm honestly curious.  I can understand liberals liking Russ Feingold and Bernie Sanders, but this woman?  What has she done to merit such adoration from "progressives"?  The devotion of her fans is only second to the cult-like following that Barack Obama had in 2008.  It almost makes me think that sinister figures in high levels of power are propping her up.  Like Obama, she seems to have just come from nowhere ... is the Illuminati reaching into the faculty at Harvard?

Republican Senator Scott Brown made a crack about Democrat Elizabeth Warren’s physical appearance on a radio show this morning.

Brown was responding to a crack Warren made in Tuesday’s debate, when the Democrat was asked about Scott Brown using his centerfold spread in Cosmopolitan magazine decades ago to pay for college. Warren said that she “didn’t take her clothes off” to pay for school.

Asked by the WZLX disc jockey for a response, Brown said “Thank God,” eliciting laughter from the DJs.

Frankly, I find Warren's comment more offensive (and particularly because she started the issue). It's more honorable to put yourself in massive debt than to take your clothes off for a camera? What happened to tolerance?

Of course, I understand that female voters might feel differently about this. Just my opinion, though.

His response strikes me as a little more questionable just because of the whole issue of mens' and women's roles in Western history, but for the most part I agree that this isn't something that would sway me either way if I didn't already think that Warren is great and Brown is tilt-HP.

The questioner at the debate initiated this (explicitly mentioning Brown posing for Cosmo), not Warren.
