Error on the 2004 Democratic Primary map

On the 1956 map, it shows Eisenhower as having more than 60% of the vote in Colorado.
However, Eisenhower only got 59.49% of the vote there.

That's... That's... Unbelievable! I can't believe such a well reputationed forum as this would have been party to such a grievous error! I'd been considering leaving the forum but decided not to. This, however, is the last straw!

Don't be a douche. It's important to have accurate figures and maps for an election atlas.

It's not something I'm particularly peeved about, just something I'd like to bring to Dave's attention. I have no reason to believe it was anything other than a sincere mistake.

Oh, it's just "coincidence" is it? May I suggest you study the county map for the Texas senatorial election of 1964 and think again. T H E T R U T H
Look for it.

Thanks for pointing out this error. The maps have been corrected and will now show properly (even in this thread) with a reload.
Please let me know if you find any others.
Enjoy,
Dave

North Dakota in 1900 is also erroneous. It is colored R>60%, though McKinley received 55.25% there.

Indiana in 1832 should be 60% shade.

Scott County, Indiana, in the 2008 election is painted as >50% McCain despite only being 49.75% McCain.

And by the way, IL and DE are marked as >50% in the 2008 EV map, whereas Obama broke 60% there.

Oh, and it looks to me like SC is shaded as >50% Gingrich rather than >40% Gingrich.

I reran the map-creation scripts for 2008 - so these are all representative of the current database.
Thanks,

Humpty Bumpty.
For the 2004 map, Washington is shaded at >50% despite only being 48.41% Kerry. Additionally, Idaho is shaded >50% Kerry despite being >80% Kerry.

Idaho is shaded 50% Kerry as that's what the results of the caucus were. As for Washington...I think it's a mistake.
