The Christian marijuana dealer if like the real life person I am thinking of is not just a purely nominal Christian who does some light selling but a trafficker/fairly large distributor who used some of his profits to book Christian hardcore shows and helped out with church events and stuff.

I'd rather be roommates with a marijuana dealer than anyone straightedge.

I'd take the straightedged atheist, obviously, as that's who my current rommate is. I suppose if he was a militant atheist it may be different, though. Still, I think I'd go insane with a drug dealer roommate regardless of his religious beliefs.

The guy I'm thinking of (real life roommate of the Christian marijuana dealer) is pretty firm in his non-belief but not the preachy type.

In that case it'd probably be a toss-up, with maybe a slight edge towards the Christian marijuana dealer. I wouldn't really mind either too terribly much. If the Christian dealt in harder drugs I'd be a lot more disapproving.

Probably the most hilarious thing is that the church the marijuana dealer guy was most involved with was Assembly of God (it was one of those "stealth" ones that doesn't openly say their affiliation but I remember finding it when browsing their website out of curiosity.) And based on my interactions he might as well have been a borderline alcoholic as well.

Chances are if he deals marijuana he is one of those open minded and loving christian types that I really admire.  As for straight edge, f*** that.  Those people are f***ing squares (yes even more so than the people who believe in an invisible man in the sky).

When I read "sXe", I don't think "straightedge", I think "sexy". However, the fact that this hopefully female atheist is in fact not sexy does change the circumstances.
