Running a stud candidate farm, obviously.

I thought the same exact thing.  however, If Obama were to win a second term, and if Brown were to lose, do you think that Obama may consider bypassing Kerry for SOS to keep him (Kerry) in the senate and keep the seat in Democratic hands?

I personally think that Brown would run for governor in 2014... or go back to modeling.

Or is it still pretty likely that Brown will pull out the 2012 race?

He's not doomed but he's in shabbier shape than the conventional wisdom had previously suggested.

So far his operation has not shown many signs of handling pressure well. Granted Warren's effort is run by the most obnoxious Patrickites in the Democratic party, but Brown is suffering from his top talent leaving for the Romney campaign. He may not be able to win with the B-team, and he seems to be batting with the C one.
