No, but once when my Dad was working at the airport, he saw Jesse Jackson cut in line, so he made him go back to the end of the line. (seriously).
Although later he met Jesse Jackson Jr., who he said was nice.

My girlfriend met John Kerry while he was running for President. She got a Kerry / Edwards poster, and when she uncovered it a few months ago, we put it on our wall Cheesy

I met Mitt Romney back in 2010 at a book signing. It was pretty brief, but he was cool. I think what a lot of people fail to understand is that even politicians we would consider to be "average" or "boring" speakers are incredibly charismatic 1-on-1 communicators.

Me not personally. Bill and Hillary came to Mount Airy in 2008 but I had Football practice and couldn't go, I wish I did now though Sad

Virginia Foxx came my high school once but I was in 1st period and couldn't go listen to her speech.

My uncle met Al Gore in 2000 though when he was traveling for his job. He was Indy and went to a rally because he was undecided. He said he was an okay guy, kind of snobby. He ended up going for Bush that year when he voted in Atlanta.

I once met Michael Howard back during the 2005 General Election (I was 9). My Dad, I believe, has stood in lifts (on different occasions) with both Ken Clarke and John Redwood (I think he even briefly spoke to the latter).

No.  However, I did see Mitt Romney in 2007 while he was campaigning for the GOP nomination in '08, and I saw him again in 2012 when he made a campaign stop in my hometown.  I also saw Mike Huckabee in a neighboring town when he was campaigning in the Michigan primary in 2008.

John Kerry may have come to my hometown in 2004, but if he did, I never saw him.
