Romney just said "I care about people" in regard to healthcare. Could hurt him. Tongue

He said things worse than this, I doubt it will hurt him. I am not sure why he is asking Bachmann though.

A decent off-the-cuff Romney joke.  Then he asks a question to...Bachmann?

Rick Perry is speaking like a person without severe brain damage, a significant improvement over his performance in past debates.
Cause he clearly rehearsed everything he's said.
Yeah, but that's a start. He doesn't sound much worse tonight than, say, George W. Bush in 1999.

"Auditing the Fed is not my priority" That could hurt him.

Yup. Audititing the fed is one of the tea party's big things.

Ron:  Hey Herman, you were on the federal reserve board, tell us why you're so evil?

Herman:  Nine!  Nine!  Nine!

Your response was a total dodge of the question.

This thing about the thirty foster kids. Is that something she should be bragging about? Isn't it weird? What's the story there, anyway?

Romney:  Congresswoman Bachmann, those kneepads just might fit you too.

Bachmann:  I'm a mother of five children from my current husband, seven from my college boyfriend, and four from my high school sweetheart.  I don't need no stinkin kneepads, honey.

I think Romney giving a complimentary softball question to Michelle is fairly classy actually.

Best guess: Romney serves up a softball to Bachmann to give her another chance to pull some votes away from Cain, leaving Romney to win Iowa.

Santorum is clearly a crazy person, but I think he's probably one of the smartest people on that stage.

Santorum:  Cain, you... are... a... TOOL.

Cain:  Nine.  Nine.  Nine.

I agree that Santorum, although batty, is extremely smart.
