Big, barking dogs (even though I know the saying "barking dogs don't bite") and large bugs/spiders.

Germs, heights, betrayal, death, failure, most restrooms in houses that aren't mine, people I don't know, speaking in front of large crowds that include people I don't know, pain, being alone in crowded places, ordering my own food or purchasing my own things by myself, and many more than I can't think of right this moment.

Talking to people I don't actually know via email or telephone.  Any other form of communication is fine.

This. Especially saying my name on the telephone, I find very annoying and distressing.

Very Lacanian, I know.

I have an irrational fear of being in the back seat of a two door car. Like if there was a bad accident, I wouldn't be able to get out.  And like opebo, I'd very much prefer not to be homeless and starving Tongue

In point of fact, this is a very realistic fear - it is quite likely to occur.  Say perhaps a 10% chance.

Well because you asked:

Heights, instantaneous speed in general (roller-coasters, rides that drop you x amount of feet out of the sky in amusement parks,) fear of sharp objects (needles, razors, etc.,) spiders, cardiophobia, fear of sudden loud noises, sociophobia, bees/wasps/hornets, insects in general, fear of undressing in front of other people.

EDIT: Forgot to add Claustrophobia.

I wouldn't say I have a fear or blood because I'm absolutely infatuated with vampires and the occult, but when I see blood cells, I get nauseous.

Talking on the phone to a friend or a complete stranger: Just seems a bit odd in the world of texting when it comes to friends and I'll almost always try to avoid it. As for complete strangers, well, I just have an aversion to it.

Being lonely the rest of my life: A friend once identified me as "manic-depressive". Not sure how significant that is, but I can often feel incredibly alone and can get this really isolated feeling on things called weekends. Being a realist as well as a coward, the obvious issue of girls also comes into play here. Hell, I'm friggin' 15 years old and I have this horrible feeling that I'll end up horribly both in terms of money as well as my social situation.

Being on rollercoasters: I'll go on 'em sure, but for me, it's like a scary movie is for me, I'll do it but I won't enjoy it. When I"m on rollercoasters I'll get philosophical and often ask, out loud, why we trust these people with out lives.

I'm sure there are more, but this is what comes to mind.

As for dog attacks, my little brother was once chased by my neighbor's dog up and his shirt ended up torn up. This was years ago. Still funny.

Claustrophobia is the only big one.  I tend to hate dark, confined spaces.  I used to be afraid of heights when I was little, but I got interested in Aviation and got over it.  The only other thing I hate is things that touch the front of my neck, so I guess that's pnigophobia.

Definitely calling people I don't know. Also, most situations when I have to meet people by myself, and anytime where I have to be the center of attention in a small group setting full of people I mostly don't know. I do fine one-on-one and in large groups though.

Heights, death, pain, rejection.

I'm not sure than the last three are phobias, they are quite rationnal.

I was afraid of knives, of needles and of fire, but I needed to overcome those fears when beginning university (hard to believe, but needles and flames are used in Chemistry. Obviously, knives are needed for cooking.).

Was afraid of dark when I was young. I love darkness now, it is soothing.

The usual stuff, I guess.

My brother in law must have a bad case of ergophobia, if you get what I'm saying.

Mild claustrophobia, but for some reason not at social events, only when I expect to have some privacy (like when my entire family is in the bathroom at once)

I don't have any huge irrational fears which cause me to live like a recluse, but I'm generally scared of:

wasps and bees. That scares me sh**tless. I'm also uncomfortable around aggressive animals and would probably freak near snakes, scorpions, sharks et al.
Risky, scary and reckless things/activities in general (I don't like taking risks)
Death, I guess, but I don't really think of it
Utter pain, but I don't think about it
Rejection and loneliness. I like being alone at times, but I don't want a lonely recluse life.

I feel uncomfortable talking off the cuff in large group situations, because I'm a recovering stutterer. I used to be scared sh**tless of talking on the phone to anybody because of stuttering, but not any more. I'm also uncomfortable talking to strangers/peers of the opposite sex, and before that I used to be uncomfortable talking to any strangers. I'm also mildly morally conservative in that I don't like undressing and sh**t in public spaces or in front of others.

Also not a fan of massively overpacked public spaces, but I'm not claustrophobic.

I also have a strange type of anxiety which prevents me from going to social gatherings that attract mostly for lack of a better word "normal" people,

I think that's more good taste and common sense than a disorder of any kind, BRTD.  I feel that way all the time, but only because for me it is work to attend such gatherings (they are sometimes demanded by my job), and I hate work with an all-consuming passion.  I don't drink and don't mind 'dressing up' somewhat formally, I just prefer to be around decent people - for example those who would not judge me negatively if they knew the 'real me'.  Such people are a rarity.

My fear of heights is my only phobia but it's a real phobia and not just a mild fear. If I climb up a ladder ten feet and look down, I'll freeze up. I can't rock climb without feeling terrorized. I went to Banff and took the gondola to the top of that hillside and while I thought it was beautiful, I was also really afraid.

Outside of that, I have no phobias just activities that make me uncomfortable.
