Something will have to give, Kal! Wink

Aye for the amendment, although I don't play any of those games but Starcraft II.

I do have a question though. Who would consent to a duel like this knowing if they lose, they'll be banished from the game for a year? Someone who loves pain? Or just wants to leave the game?

What kind of duel doesn't have any consequences?!

What fun is that?! You wouldn't even miss an election! A duel must have consequences. Evil

I might be willing to accept a four month "death," since that would be one full election cycle.

Though I suppose even a week-long "death" would at least remove someone from office, if they were an office-holder that is...

Indeed, and it would encourage citizens to have more duels for our amusements.  Wink

A week is much more appropriate, I think. Maaaybe a month, maximum. If the stakes are too high nobody will duel unless they're just pulling an Atlas-suicide anyway.

Also, more games should be included!

I was going to recommend some console based games, but I don't know if anyone would duel on them.   Tongue   Most people here are PC people.

I haven't played Xbox in forever. The only computer game I play is Starcraft 2 and that's only when I have time. I used to play Halo in my younger years, but I assume the time has passed when it comes to its popularity.

Do you have Halo Reach?

Nice, I would support an amendment to add those if you like.  Smiley

We have to set a limit at some point unless we just want to add all the games. I know Call of Duty games are popular, and Halo is a dead series now. I'll support whatever amendments are offered and decide if I am challenged which to accept.

Why not just say, "a single match of any online game agreed upon by the participants, so long as the game can be fully recorded for independent verification"?

That would work. Can console games be recording? We're going into a whole new area that I am unfamiliar with, mind you. Tongue

I know Black Ops automatically records every match you play. I'm pretty sure you can record matches in the newer Halo games, too. I don't know about much else but that sort of thing is becoming more common these days, I think.
