Apocalypse this Friday, Dibble plans Vegas vacation for following week

Well, after failing spectacularly in his last prediction, Harold Camping's prediction of the true end of the world is this Friday.

Yes gentlemen, “We can be sure that the whole world, with the exception of those who are presently saved (the elect), are under the judgement of God, and will be annihilated together with the whole physical world on October 21, 2011,” - dire news indeed.

After being completely annihilated, I for one intend to spend Sunday flying in a plane that will have been destroyed to the city of Las Vegas which will no longer exist to spend a week in debauchery. I guess I should have planned this out a bit better, though maybe not debauching until after the judgment will work in my favor.

The simple fact that I was drawn closer to Christ after May 21 disproves Camping.

I guess my cousin won't be confirmed the day before Halloween though if true. Well the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America is a false herectical church to him anyway.

Err, not really. There isn't any real evidence that you're closer to anything (much less that the thing in question exists) outside of your own claims and Camping has stated something to the effect that any conversions and whatnot after the May 21 "spiritual rapture" would not be real ones.

Does anyone remember the part of Watchmen where Rorschach's alter ego is walking be the newspaper stand, the newspaper seller, the day after Doc Manhattan left and Rorschach predicted the end of the world, asks Kovacs "now, the world didn't end, did it?) saracastically, and Kovacs responds "it didn't?"? This kinds reminds me of that. Not that I beleive a word this dude says.
