No idea.  It might be Nyx from some fanfic series I've never heard of.

And yeah, that was amusing -- getting crap past the radar.  Maybe they'll end up on the Maury Ponyvich Show.  But overall I'm not sure I liked the episode.  Pinkie was funny of course, but....THOSE CREEPY BABBIES.  And the writing seemed lazy in terms of sticking to sensible canon.

Kinda both. We like it because it's actually much better than you'd expect from a 22-minute toy commercial; it has a lot of the humor (and the writing/animating staff) from the cartoons that I grew up with in the 90's.
