Certainly my first thought was wondering if Mrs. Cake had someone else who was making her bread rise.

This was my favorite Pinkie episode. She's one of my least favorite ponies(Down there with Rainbow Dash, who I sort of view as an ass) But I liked what they did with her character here.

Rarity, my former least favorite, is now the best pony in my eyes. Her episode in Canterlot is probably my favorite of the series. And her song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwTqjDhxYq0

Truly a wonderful pony.

It truly is a good show.  I actually found out and got interested in it due to the first thread here. Being something of a cynic, I never expected to like it, but I suppose it stirs some joy in my soul.

That said, it is an acquired taste. But they are cute ponies. And I'm pleasantly surprised by the lack of easily assessable pony porn. I'm sure it's out there, but nice to know it's not infested the core fanbase.

I wonder how much of the show's success lays in escapism. Allowing people to get away from endless wars, economic troubles, and an uncertain future. It's refreshing to go to a world where there's no real sense of trouble. Naive and childish, but we all require our outlets. Smiley It's funny, because this and Vampire: the Masquerade are mine, and the two could not be more different.
