I'm sure they already are. Moneybaggs Mittens can't actually connect on a personal level with voters, and it's clear that he's an idiot who can debate only slightly better than the late great Rick Perry, so his only chance is to throw millions of dollars of ads at a state and hope for the best.

Right now, Obama needs to start putting out a bunch of positive ads, listing his accomplishments, like Clinton in 1996. If Romney and Gingrich go after each other, it works to Obama's advantage as he can focus on the general election. It's also very important for him to get his approval rating back up near 50.

Ads aren't going to do anything for Obama's approval rating.  It may translate into a temporary bumb, but nothing that will last for months or until election day.

Obama would be better served saving his money until the campaign, or else attacking Romney and trying to get the primary to drag out longer.

Romney is desperate. He's using his own ads to go after Gingrich now, instead of just relying on his Super PAC buddies.

Just saw a "Americans for prosperity" ad attacking Obama over solyranda.[on two different channels] Guess they are starting the ad campaign early here in Wisconsin.

Is Ireland a tax haven now? You Democrats really love the corporate tax, then.

It looks like the candidates, especially Mitt Romney, are starting to buy ads in the Super Tuesday states.  This means voters in Oklahoma better buckle up for a long month of bruising campaign ads.

Who are people you talk to for over there? I have a tough time seeing OK as a pro-Romney state.

I'm hearing a lot of Ron Paul and I'm also hearing a lot of Newt Gingrich.  Mitt Romney has a sizeable support group here and so does Rick Santorum.  Really, Oklahoma is still up in the air AFAIK, maybe lean Ron Paul.  We are a fairly big prize on Super Tuesday, with 43 winner-take-all delegates at stake, so I would advise all four candidates to start advertising here.  The Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and Lawton media markets are cheaper than dirt, so they can get a lot of ads without taking too big a hit in their campaign warchest.

I'm surprised to not find this ad from the Ron Paul SuperPAC in this thread (unless it's buried):

http://youtu.be/XKfuS6gfxPY

Ron Paul's best speech re-done into a powerful video that really hits home his foreign policy.  (and is also where the quote in my signature comes from)

If Romney loses Michigan after putting ads like this on, it would be a huge embarrassment:
