Umm, no what happened in Detroit can not happen all over america. See the countless boondoggles in stimulus and 'green job' spending. "Succeed" AD = Fail.
"Romney Backwards on Equality" doesn't deal with equality or going backwards, so that also ='s Fail.

excuse me, but that last one is exactly what Obama has done to the bin Laden issue.
You can trololol all the way to November 6th, but it won't change anything.

I might not be a fan of Romney and I'm not sure if it was his team who created these adds or an independent site but those are great adds no doubt about it.

That is a no brainier and deserves little to no merit. Failing to lead and acting despicable in a military context is an obvious failure.

"Steel":
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWiSFwZJXwE
Quote
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama is casting Mitt Romney as a greedy, job-killing corporate titan with little concern for the working class in a new, multi-pronged effort that seeks to undermine the central rationale for his Republican rival's candidacy: his business credentials.
At the center of the push — the president's most forceful attempt yet to sully Romney before the November election — is a biting new TV ad airing Monday that recounts through interviews with former workers the restructuring, and ultimate demise, of a Kansas City, Mo., steel mill under the Republican's private equity firm.
"They made as much money off of it as they could. And they closed it down," says Joe Soptic, a steelworker for 30 years. Jack Cobb, who also worked in the industry for three decades, adds: "It was like a vampire. They came in and sucked the life out of us."
The ad, at the unusual length of 2 minutes, will run in five battleground states: Iowa, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Colorado. The campaign declined to describe the size of the ad buy though it's in the middle of running a $25 million, month-long ad campaign in nine states. A longer version of the ad was being posted online Monday.
The commercial will be coupled with a series of events Obama's campaign is holding this week in Florida, Missouri, Iowa, Nevada and North Carolina to highlight Romney's role at Bain Capital, a company he co-founded.

^^^ Yep, great ad. Portraying Romney as the embodiment of the worst of capitalism is the sensible response to his claims of economic expertise.

I watched this ad several times today. It's great.
If Romney only wants to talk about the economy then I think Obama should oblige him...

Not a bad ad, though I do wish they'd be more specific about the reforms and the health care replacement.

It doesn't do anything for me personally, but I think it's smart to shape an image of what his presidency will look like. In doing so, you remove the natural fear of change and strengthen Romney's strong "acceptability" asset. Which, given the decline of the current president is an extremely good asset to have.

Yea it truly reflects the problems that I have with Romney because all he seems to be saying is he's going to do everything that Obama didn't do.
That's doesn't classify as a vision for the future.
I want to know what Romney's about. I want to know about his plans for the tax code, New Health care plans, Military budget ext.
I don't want to know about the candidate who's just not Obama I want to know about a candidate who has a true vision of where he wants to to bring this country and preferably ones who's serious about the debt(Even though that's usally to much to ask).
And that's not a repub/Democ thing, give me a president who's serious about debt reduction. I don't mean the gimmicks where we cut programs for the poor and then increase the military budget or we raise taxes on the rich yet overspend on unfunded entitlements. There are many serious people in washigton who realize the importance of debt reduction but none of them are running outside of Ron Paul/

"Basketball" (an ad by Karl Rove's Crossroads GPS):
http://video.nytimes.com/video/2012/05/21/multimedia/100000001559636/basketball.html
LOL how the ad suggests Obama has already been in office for about 20 or so years.

I also like how that Crossroads GPS ad can't even bring itself to present a legitimate reason that a swing voter might claim to have backed Obama in 2008. "He spoke so beautifully"? Haha

Ha, "He was a great speaker. I mean, I'm just a housewife so clearly I'm not smart enough to decide who to vote for based on policy or issues that affect me!"
I think a lot of insiders in the GOP are the ones who are misinformed. They think that all of the swing voters who voted for Obama did so just because he gave beautiful speeches? Give me a break. Suburban swing voters like this woman aren't as stupid as Karl Rove would like to think they are. But hey, if campaign charisma and inspiring oratory are all it takes to win over a voter, then Romney should have NO problem at all, right???
