Obama.  It would be my first Dem. Presidential vote, but the Republican candidates and their policies do nothing for me.

I'm feeling a crazy fantasy timeline coming on with a poll like this. The premiss: Obama vs the Republican Party. And not just that, but he's running against each an every single one of the 8 top names (and maybe Romer and Johnson too just for kicks). The question is, all at once or one at a time?

If I were forced to choose one of them, I'd choose Obama in a second. But I can't imagine voting with that slate. Maybe I'll write someone in like last time. I'll probably just ignore the national section of the ballot.

I would prefer Obama to any of the others. Gary Johnson might be tempting if I knew that a win for Obama or a congressional majority for Democrats were guaranteed (Johnson's Fairtax/balanced budget routine isn't something that I'm comfortable with).

Interesting to note the current dearth of Perry/Cain/Bachmann support.

Because it's a jungle primary and this Forum has seen an invasion of Republicans lately.

I'd be ok with the GOP splitting their vote eight ways.
