A dream I had

Felt like sharing, and like this probably goes better here than in Forum Community.
So Romney upsets Bachmann in Iowa by less than a percent, before Paul suddenly blows him out New Hampshire by nine percentage points. South Carolina goes for some kind of Conservative Anti-Romney who my dream referred to as 'Painy'. After that, the race turns into a two-way contest between Romney and 'Painy', with Paul winning a few more occassional states (also apparently upsetting Painy in Texas). The race goes to the convention, where Romney has about 45% of the delegates, Painy around 40%, and Paul about 15%. After a few undecided ballots, Romney and Painy compromise; John McCain is nominated for President and Tim Pawlenty for President, and he goes on to beat Obama/Biden by a 400+ landslide. (Also, Mike Gravel was at the presidential debate for some reason).
Opinion of my subconscious?

Seriously. How many times can we read about the Obamachine 3000 pulling ahead of the Reagantronix QLZ in the race for Mars Mutant Colony's 48 electoral votes? Sheesh!

Painy- What did he look like? You must have some subconscious to be able to imagine percentage points and remember them.
I once dreamt that Richard Nixon came back in 2008 and lost to Obama.

I once had a dream where Hillary Clinton got the Dem nod in 2008 to run against John McCain, and she ended up carrying Nebraska, Kansas, and Wyoming, while losing most of New England and Maryland.
Don't ask me how I came up with that.

I once had a dream sometime in 2005 that Ronald Reagan came back from the dead (literally) and ran for President in 2006.
Not only that but George W. Bush changed his party identification to Democrat sometime in late 2005 because "everybody likes Democrats now mkay?" Almost immediately he becomes this diehard left wing granola eating liberal and decides to ban guns.
Ronald Reagan wins the 2006 Republican Primaries decisively and goes onto rape Bushie in the 2006 Presidential Election (don't ask me why it was taking place in 2006 it just did).
And he won over 500 Electoral Votes and afterwards all I heard in the background was Rocky montage music.
I swear I'm not making that up.
EDIT: Realized I left out like a ton of details.

Dream, October of 2010:
I am in this office building with dirty grey walls and aged, industrial lighting. This guy in a tie and shirtsleeves runs into the room, locks the door behind him.
MAN (sweating, panting): You gotta save me!
ME: What the hell's going on?
MAN (pressing his back to the door): He's killed before! He's after me!
ME: Who are you talking about?
MAN: The slasher- ugggh!!!
A huge knife comes up through the door through his chest. He drops to the floor and in bursts PAT TOOMEY, wearing a bloodied light blue dress shirt with his cuffs rolled up. I wake up. Now every time I see his face, I know I'm looking into the eyes of a monster. I'm on to you Senator.

During my afternoon nap....I just had a dream regarding the election. What is strange is that...I woke up the day after the election...and had no recollection of election night. Keystone Phil was in my dream...I guess I was with him at rallies and events for the campaign.
Anyways....I remember two things.
States Obama had won:
Ohio
Florida (to which Phil responded "YEAH...can you believe THAT?"
Pennsylvania
Nevada
New Mexico
Iowa
and the electoral vote total was:
Obama: 349
McCain: 189
The map on TV looked something like this:
although I'm not sure about VA and MO...but the electoral count is correct in my dream with that map.

Vaguely like Rick Perry, but Painy was of some kind of indeterminate gender (so maybe Santorum). And, yes, I can remember statistics but not faces in my dreams

This seems to be a very in depth dream. Did it last all night? Whenever I dream I dream about boring and mundane stuff like grooming a cat or attending my uncle's third wedding in 2008. My opinion is that you have dreams that are much better than mine.

Last night I dreamt Huckabee endorsed Huntsman after Santorum and Paul
both
managed to win Iowa. Bachmann, Cain, and Thune dropped out, the latter two apparently running the whole time. All of a sudden I was sitting the the corridor outside the West Wing.
There was also a map, but I have no idea what exactly the context of it was:

Going by your history of "What Ifs", I'm surprised Romney came that close to losing in your dream.
