It gives me great pleasure to announce the launch of Atlasia's latest television network.

(drum roll)

.....::::: JoeTV :::::.....

Note:
Its pretty basic right now; at the moment its just news updates and stuff.

I'm aiming for it not to be too much like the existing quality news sources (i.e. the newspapers), but more like a TV network (hence the name!).

So, as well as 'JoeTV News', there'll be entertainment and sports and stuff too.

I haven't put up a 'feedback' link on the site yet, so in the meantime let me know what you think.

Good luck. Let us have a friendly competition among media sources.

Screw that.  You're going down.

LOL, I'm just joshin' ya.  I just realized I put 'first television network' up on the site.  I guess I'll remove that.  No harm done.

You could say, First full-time TV network, since I'm only a TV network for elections, I'm a newspaper/blogger otherwise.

Well its good and all but theirs no way it can overtake Print News.

*Starts frantically asking advisors how much it would cost to buy Joe TV* Smiley

Seriously though a few pointers from an old media man like myself. Do a newspaper. It is much more realistic in Atlasia. Secondly it isn't region three its the Mideast Region. Thirdly it gets hard after awhile to continually write stories. It is hard on a man. Just a few pointers and comments.

Advice appreciated and noted.  Though I think I prefer doing television because although the imagery is a little lost in a website, at least its a way of differentiating from the newspapers.  Plus, its not just going to be news about fantasy politics, but actual news on entertainment and sports, and things from the real world.  Thats the plan, anyway. Smiley

Which reminds me, I'm not actually that big a sports fan.  In fact I'm not at all.  Kind of comes with being an political internet nerd I guess.  If anybody wants to be a sports correspondent for JoeTV Sports, you're more than welcome.  Plus, you get to be on TV! (sort of)

Problem is we have our own Football league. Our own baseball league. Sports is pretty much fantasy. Entertainment though we don't have much of.
