Team name: the Ohio Gamblers

Now what happens?

Pick a real NFL team to represent your team, such as the 1988 Cincinnati Bengals, during the simulation.

I'll buy the Minneapolis Metros for $10 million.

I'll be the 1971 Baltimore Colts, if I can Smiley

The Metros will be renamed to the Twin Cities Tigers, and they will play in Starbucks Field.

Just to keep thiongs simple, I'll base the Carolina Crusaders off of the 2003 Carolina Panthers.

Ok. Lord Traldan will need a new team then, since you have first priority on the Carolinas.

Nah, I'll just select another one then.  How about the 1989 49er's?

You'll have to ask MAS117, since he is the owner.

But this is the AFL, right?

OK, i'll stop be a thorn.

Hmmn, how about whoever won the superbowl in a year nobody has picked yet...maybe 1995?

I don't know terribly much about gridiron.

Oh, and we'll play at the newly constructed Portland Olympic Park, built for our bid for the 2016 games Cheesy

we'll also play 1/4 of our home games in Honolulu, and our team name shall now be "The Western Bulldogs".

colours are now royalblue-white-red-white-royal blue strpes, and our mascot is...a Bulldog Smiley

The San Francisco Sharks already choose the 1994 49ers so no more 49ers...besides the 1995 49ers weren't that great.

Sorry, that's Dallas. The most recent available champion is the 1999 St. Louis Rams or 2002 Tampa Bay Bucs

Technically you can have them, since they are not the same franchise as the Ravens. BTW, you have virtually the same stadium name as the Seattle team.

Keep it. I already made the switch on the offical AFL stone tablet. Otherwise known as Microsoft Excel.

Seriously, it's no biggie, he has another team anyhow.

The map easily has room for expansions, assuming the AFL has a successful season or two. I can see a sixth league (maybe a seventh or eighth). Another possibilitiy is expanding each league to six, seven, or eight teams.

New Leagues: Interior West, Mid-South, whatever
Any five of these (or any 10 in 2 leagues? 15 in 3?), with tentative names:
Las Vegas Aces
Denver Pikes
Phoenix Firebirds
Santa Fe Pueblos
Houston W's
Dallas Rangers
St. Louis Bulldogs
Kansas City Grange
Sacramento Leaders
Los Angeles Stars
Chicago Packers
Orlando or Jacksonville Gators
Miami Bayside
Davenport Bruins (derived from Brunsel - Brun - Bruin)
Triangle Warriors (Raliegh-Durham-Chapel Hill)

Sorry, the Rams are already taken. And for the Bucs, their Super Bowl winning team was actually 2002, even though they won it in January 2003. I'll assume you want 2002.
