I'll buy the Virginia Devils, put them in Winchester, and rename them the Shenandoah Valleys.

How much are you willing to pay?

$17,819,654.67, give or take 15 million dollars.

I have lined up $16.5 million in assets (more than my current wealth, but I have had many other investors - especially Marklin Group hotels (I am its CEO, and the board members want to build a Rest Inn right next door... coincidence? Nope)).

I'll be an investor as well. Where should the team play?

Richmond. One of the biggest cities in Virginia, central location, not too close to Baltimore or Nyman.  I've given the team the name 'Richmond X-Men', reference both to my name and to the comic book heroes. If you want a piece of the action, maybe the team will play in MHS Stadium?

If not Richmond, then Norfolk/Newport News area, or if you want a mountain city, Charlottesville.

Winchester is too small, and too close to other teams.

We can go with Richmond and MHS Stadium works.

If it is OK with Daniel, the X-Men can be the 1991 Washington Redskins.

A correction: DanielX and I co-own the Richmond X-Men. The name of the stadium is MHS field. Thanks Wink

Good. No problem, although I still think we should do games once a week, or once every 3 days, to provide more time to discuss playoff possibilties and such.

I would agree. I think one reason why the standings were messed up is because we were doing 2 and 3 games a day.

So, I guess this means this week's standoff with the X-Men at the Superdome will probably come close to determining who wins the Southern Division.

If the Saints win, they win the division.  If the X-Men win, they only need to win the week afterwards or have the Saints lose to win the division.

The Saints will fall!

For the playoff bracket, wouldn't it make sense to go #1 vs. #8, #2 vs. #7, #3 vs. #6 and #4 vs. #5 for the first round?
