The Third team in the Presidential division....

The Gustaf Meatballs!

Might sound weird but I figured since he's Swedish, some might appreciate it. Just a suggestion... Smiley

Unless JFK or Gustaf have any suggestions, I will just make a Nyman Nationals team for the 3rd

Hey King I would like to become a part owner in this new football league. How about we split this league 50/50.

Me and Akno already own 50/50 of the league. You could always buy the Pittsburgh team and name it what you want.

Sure I'll buy the Pittsburgh Soulties but the name stays. How much do you want?

$12 million for Pittsburgh Soulties

King, I already trademarked the three team names I proposed, so unless we can reach an accomodation, you aren't going to have a team named the Florida Oranges.  I've also take the liberty of trademarking Florida Orange, Florida Juice, Florida Citrus, Florida Grapefruit, Florida Tangerines, Flordia Lemons, Florida Limes, and Florida Key Limes, as well as each of those team names for Tampa, Tampa Bay, Orlando, and Miami in connection with professional sports teams just to cover all the bases.  It's amazing how much piece of mind a little money can buy you under trademark law.

I will give you 65% ownership of the Florida Oranges

I am looking for minor investors (read: nobody you've heard of, mostly fellow board members at Bartlett Bank) to join up with me to buy the Virginia Devils, to be re-named the Richmond X-Men (since Nyman and Baltimore are taken...).

$14 million for Virginia Devils

I'll buy the Virginia Devils, put them in Winchester, and rename them the Shenandoah Valleys.

How much are you willing to pay?

I am normally not a rich man (that senate salary didn't do me much good) but I'll be receiving an $8 million inheritance soon --- perhaps that will be enough to purchase the Buffalo Storm?

We could work out a financing plan if you want.

I'll see to it that my team performs exceptionally -- depending on how well they do can affect my loan, how about that?

Sounds good.

I would like to buy the Triad Triplets and move them to New Orleans if possible, so they can become the Saints, play in the Superdome and be crappy forever.  Smiley

Sure, I'll sell it to you for $1.5 million (since they are going to play like the Saints)

oooh, the Bandits and the Saints can be rivals!

You can count on a couple of wins ever year at least, because the Saints will always be terrible.

But at least they have a nice stadium Wink
