Quinnipiac national poll: Cain 30% Romney 23% Gingrich 10% Perry 8% Paul 7%

Quinnipiac national GOP primary poll, conducted from Oct. 25-31 (so most, but not all of it was before the sexual harrassment news broke).  It shows Cain at 30%, which is tied for an all time high for him in national polls from any pollster:

Romney 23%
Gingrich 10%
Perry 8%
Paul 7%
Bachmann 4%
Huntsman 2%
Santorum 1%

Cain's at 33% among men and 27% among women.  His best subgroup is self-described Tea Party supporters, where he's at 43% and Romney's at 14%.

Looks like Cain is not only a "flavor of the month".

But let's wait another week or two until the "sex-gate dust" has settled and we'll know more.
