After what happened last Saturday in the Swamp, I don't think anyone with South Carolina ties thinks Gators are adorable.

I was kidding, obviously. What happened in South Carolina? Nothing good, I guess. Really, I have not a clue.

Yup.  The South Carolina Gamecocks got trounced by the Florida Gators on Saturday at their stadium which goes by the nickname of the Swamp, since that's where Gators live.

I'll never understand what you, Americans, use to call football.  Anyways, I'm sorry for the Gamecocks (btw, what a funny name). Go Gators!

It is fairly unique among collegiate sports mascots.  One of South Carolina's Revolutionary War patriots, Thomas Sumter, acquired the nickname during that war in recognition of his small stature and fighting spirit.  Since we're bordered by two larger States, it is not too surprising that the nickname spread to have further use.

Where is there a more detailed list of members? Does the wiki have an up to date one?

What do you mean? The Census has a list of all registered members since Nov 1st. More people have applied for citizenship and that will be updated, probably in a few days. If you want bios on people, you can look on the wiki, but don't be too disappointed. It's very outdated. Smiley

That actually answers my question. Thanks.

Sir, Kreitzer registered in Virginia, not Wyoming (Though he did initially).

His initial registration is in Wyoming. Per the Constitution, I cannot change it for six months.

Minor correction: the IDS has 29 citizens, not 28.

Also, I thought that a new citizen was eligible for a free move to any region for the first seven days after they registered?

I can't find that law. I'll be happy to correct myself if you can find it - perhaps you know where it is. But there's also a provision in the Constitution which states that "persons may only change their state of registration once every two months".

Fixed. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

I thought that too, but like Homely, I can't seem to find anything in the Constitution on it. Perhaps it was passed but never added? I'll do some digging...

Yeah, me neither. That Wiki is something else...

I did find these mentions of it, however - including one in the Introduction to Atlasia thread and one reference from the GM:
