The more I see of the Republicans, the more electoral votes I see Obama winning. At this point, he's won Georgia, Missouri, and Arizona, and is on the cusp of winning WV, MT, and SC.

Probably the Republican (assuming its Romney...there's no way Cain can beat Obama), though I'd caution the GOP to remember how easy it is to grasp defeat out of the jaws of victory.

Sorry bud, not with the economy in the state it's in.  Besides, what makes you think Romney won't win?

There's been no indication he has any chance of winning WV or MT.

I was having the discussion at work with some co-workers, men and women some only 18 years old, another was in their 50s, and when I said, "I think there is a chance Obama wins" they all looked at me like I was insane. A younger black guy who I work with had on a shirt with Obama's face and said something to the effect, "Mike...if you think he's gonna win, you're crazy!" I was surprised to see this reaction from young people and an African American Obama supporter. There was ZERO enthusiasm for Obama.

Barack Obama, for no other reason than the GOP candidates being universally horrific.

I live in a far left bubble and participate in this forum, which is also a socially liberal bubble. Therefore, my ability to get a pulse for what the rest of the country is thinking is rather small.

I have absolutely no idea.

If the economy keeps improving, I will say Obama in a close contest early Wednesday morning.  I don't see a landslide either way.

If Obama keeps his state-by-state numbers at where they are now, he will win. I think the Republicans will get stronger when they nominate a candidate, but who that candidate is determines how big of a bump they'll get. If they nominate Herman Cain, Obama wins. If they nominate Mitt Romney, it's probably a toss-up, but I could see Obama having a narrow lead. If Newt Gingrich or Rick Perry somehow win the nomination, who knows because that would be a very diffferent world than what it is now.

If the Republican candidate is Romney, then Romney wins.

The economy is only getting worse so I'd say the Republican at the moment.

I could see Obama vs. Romney going either way pretty easily. Obama would beat any of the others handily though.

Pure tossup at this point, depending on who the nominee is, so I just chose Republican, assuming the inevitable happens and Romney is nominated. But once again, I wouldn't be surprised either way at this point.
