Because badminton is better than any other sport, the ILV News Corp., Ltd., Inc., Co. (yes, company again), owner of ILVRN, the ILVNS's, and the Ilvie Picayune-Bee & Journal, announces that it will create the Badminton Association of Atlasia, to serve as a body to regulate Atlasia's badminton.

So, yeah.  If you want to register your club with us, or are interested in making a league, plase post here Smiley

MANN would like to purchase the telegraph contract for the BAA for $7.77. We will have reporters at each match, ready to telegraph the results to people in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, and London.

You might as well.  But hey, it's Christmas Eve, I'm full of excellent food, and my brain isn't much feeling like being very creative. Tongue

What logic are you using to make those divisions, ILV?

If we only have 8 teams, we only need 1 division.

Singles or doubles?

None? Smiley

I suppose we could have both.  I think that it will be something like 'meets'... the teams will all have competitors (an even amount), who will play round robin games with their competittors... the team that won the most games wins; if the teams are tied, then there is a tiebreak consisting of two matches: a singles match and a doubles match (the people that play in them are selected by the teams).  If that is tied, umm... they flip a coin?

How about this, each team has 4 players. In the first season, games are single. There is a 4 pt game, a 3 pt game, etc. So a team can get anywhere from 10 to 0 points per game. In the second season, it's doubles. Only 2 games. a 4 and 3 pter. Combined totals wins. Each team plays once against each team per season.
